SEPURA TETRA RADIOS HAVE TRANSFORMED COMMUNICATIONS FOR AMBULANCE SERVICES

Through Sepura hand-held radios body-worn by paramedics and mobile radios, fitted in ambulances, rapid

response vehicles and motorcycles, Sepura radios deliver the key communications required by emergency medical teams.

Sepura Ambulance Solution provides ambulance services world-wide with a single source of supply for equipment, training, accessories and support.

Sepura also offer radios for Air Ambulances through approved providers/integrators, please contact us for more information.

'Go with You' Gateways

With paramedics on average spending 80% of their time within buildings, Sepura’s gateway functionality overcomes any risk of poor reception found in domestic homes, shopping centres, factories or multi-storey car parks.

The Sepura gateway radio acts as a link-station through which handheld radios can maintain communications both beyond the normal reach of the network and in areas of poor reception. Sepura’s gateway has the highest output power of any TETRA gateway on the market, thereby giving all users a much wider communications range and ensuring that crews can be contacted on their radios when away from the vehicle. Keeping crews connected with their headquarters improves their effectiveness, their safety and the safety of those they are treating.

GPS

Thanks to GPS functionality paramedics can request immediate assistance by pressing the radio’s emergency button. Almost immediately the control room can precisely locate them and send help.

DUAL CONSOLE SUPPORT

Ambulance are often fitted with dual consoles – one at the front and the other at the rear of the vehicle, allowing crew that are caring for a patient at the back of the vehicle to communicate directly with the control room, rather than relaying messages between the front and the back of the ambulance.

APPLICATIONS

A large proportion of ambulances’ communications is executed by SDS – with a library of messages set up on each radio. At a glance the crew can view dispatching instructions and follow them instantly.

AUDIO AND DATA

Offering ambulance organisations increased efficiency and faster response times in answering emergency calls. Voice and data messages are relayed reliably and immediately, to save precious seconds in answering calls.
